Zakir Khan Is Helping Clients Build Online Brands With Massive Exit Potential

The digital world is flooded with companies that claim they can create long-term sustainable businesses using drop-shipping with large marketplace platforms like Amazon or Wal-Mart. The unfortunate fact that these companies fail to mention is that drop-shipping is against the terms and conditions of every single marketplace out there including Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, and others. The process launched by Zakir Khan and Amaan Khan over at Smarter Ecom is changing the way online businesses are being built.

Smarter Ecom focuses on sustainability and being able to build a brand that has a brand identity that consistently builds cash flow which in turn builds brand equity. Zakir Khan says “Building a brand that has unique products where we control the entire supply chain is the utmost importance. Doing this allows us to follow the rules of every single platform and grow the brand year over year. We are tired of seeing people being told they can have a sustainable business using drop-shipping on marketplaces when in fact that is a recipe for disaster in the long run and has zero exit potential later down the road.”

The new process from Smarter Ecom sources products from within the USA and from nearby countries when the product isn’t available locally. With supply chain issues and long-distance shipping complications becoming more common due to COVID 19, this helps to ensure a solid and efficient supply for scaling up new brands.

To help reduce competition, the team works directly with manufacturers to get exclusive brand agreements. This has the added benefit of cutting the overall product costs by removing distributors and wholesalers from the supply chain.

While many companies claim they can create a sustainable business with drop-shipping, these brands often end up with no marketplace to sell their products. Smarter Ecom takes a low-risk approach that includes registering brand IP rights and following all the terms and conditions of the marketplaces they take part in.

New businesses can receive additional traffic using a world-class marketing team that understands what it takes to make a new brand visible. They make use of a wide variety of visibility tools, ranging from traditional advertising spaces to popular social media platforms.

Smarter Ecom takes care of all the management duties, including registering brands on popular platforms, distribution logistics, and lead generation tools. When clients are ready to scale up the business, they use proven strategies to increase its reach, including relationships with well-known social media influencers.

Zakir Khan and his brother Amaan Khan have personally generated $40 Million in online sales over the past 10 years and they partner with individuals that are looking to grow their own e-commerce brand by utilizing their team and industry knowledge. They have helped tens of clients to exit their businesses for multiple 7 figures generating over $58M in such exits.

A satisfied client said, “I heard about online selling before and had never really known how to get into it. I started looking into it and realized that going solo was going to be very hard. When I found Smarter Ecom, they walked me through everything – how to set up my shop, what to sell, everything from A to Z. I’m well on my way to making regular sales now – I never thought this was possible.”

Trump puts himself on the ballot

President Donald Trump at a rally in Gastonia, North Carolina, on September 16, 2026. | Brendan Smialowski/AFP via Getty Images This story appeared in The Logoff, a daily newsletter that helps you stay informed about the Trump administration without letting political news take over your life. Subscribe here. Welcome to The Logoff: With fewer than 50 days until the midterm elections, President Donald Trump is hitting the campaign trail.  What’s happening? Trump was in North Carolina last night for his first major post-primary season rally of the 2026 midterms (setting aside the GOP’s unusual midterm convention last week, which wasn’t not a Trump rally).  Republican Michael Whatley will face former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper in November for an open US Senate seat. Speaking near Charlotte, Trump urged voters to “pretend I’m on the ticket, because essentially I am.” It’s becoming a familiar refrain for the president, but not necessarily a promising one — polls suggest Trump is deeply unpopular with voters right now, more likely to drag a ticket down than boost it. How else is Trump getting involved in the midterms? Last week, we noted that Trump was beginning to spend from his vast super PAC account to support Republican candidates. Now, we’re getting a better idea of what that spending looks like: As of earlier this week, Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC and related entities had booked ads to the tune of $138 million, a number that could continue to grow. MAGA Inc. has around $400 million in the bank, though as the Washington Post reported earlier this month, Trump has a long list of other things he could choose to spend that money on instead of the midterms (such as legal fees, travel, or even his eventual presidential library). Will it make a difference? It’s a whole lot of money. But with not much time left until voters go to the polls and some mail-in ballots already going out — North Carolina voters began receiving theirs earlier this month — the map is looking fairly dire for Republican hopes.  Trump, meanwhile, isn’t doing himself any favors. The fuel shortages caused by the Iran war are only getting worse, as my colleague Caitlin Dewey explained today. Polls suggest he’s picked the wrong side of the AI issue. And voters are still extremely mad about inflation. And with that, it’s time to log off… It’s not every day we get to write about a new cat — in fact, it’s the first time in more than 100 years. But that’s just what scientists found in the Bolivian Yungas Forest, according to a new study published today. The cat, Leopardus tilcayo, is a type of tiger cat, smaller than your average house cat. It’s also quite cute, and you can see pictures of it here. Thanks for reading, have a great evening, and we’ll see you back here tomorrow!
