Multiple Endodontists in Frederick Maryland
With Dr. William Arden and Dr. William Walker, PearlFection now has multiple endodontists available to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the dental pulp and roots of teeth.
Endodontic services include evaluation and treatment of conditions such as:
PearlFection can also provide sedation options using our sister company, Maryland Sedation Dentistry and Surgical Center for appropriate endodontic patients, an important option for individuals who have significant dental anxiety, difficulty tolerating dental procedures, special needs, complex treatment requirements or other circumstances that can make conventional dental treatment difficult.
This allows appropriate patients to combine the expertise of an endodontist with PearlFection's experience in sedation dentistry.
Patients who have delayed root canal treatment because of dental fear or anxiety can contact PearlFection to discuss whether sedation may be appropriate for their treatment.
Harvard Trained Board Certified Endodontist
Dr. Arden completed his advanced specialty training in endodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating from Harvard's endodontic program in 2020. He became a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2023.
Before specializing in endodontics, Dr. Arden earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Great Lakes, Illinois.
Dr. Arden also served as a dentist in the United States Navy and has an extensive background in academics and dental research. His experience has included teaching and working with dental residents at academic and postgraduate dental institutions.
He brings this combination of clinical specialty training, research, academics and military dentistry to PearlFection's Frederick practice.
Endodontics and Dental Specialists Under One Roof
The addition of Dr. Arden reflects PearlFection Dentistry's larger philosophy: when possible, patients should not have to travel from office to office to receive specialty dental treatment.
PearlFection's team includes general dentists and specialists providing care across numerous areas of dentistry. When a patient has a complex problem involving several areas of dentistry, the doctors can collaborate on diagnosis and treatment planning.
A patient who comes to PearlFection with severe tooth pain, for example, may need an endodontist for root canal treatment and subsequently require restorative or other specialty care. Instead of coordinating treatment among unrelated practices, these services can often be coordinated within PearlFection.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Dr. Arden to PearlFection," said R. Stewart Stringer, General Manager of PearlFection Dentistry. "Adding a Harvard-trained, board-certified endodontist of Dr. Arden's caliber alongside Dr. William Walker makes our endodontic team even stronger. More importantly, it advances what we have been building at PearlFection—giving patients access to an extraordinary range of dental specialists, advanced treatment and sedation options under one roof."
